Cellar2Cellar Trail Run & Wine Experience  (7 September 2013)
Calling all  trail runners and wine lovers – it’s time to lace up your takkies and join the colourful brigade of wine lovers with a sense of adventure off the beaten track amongst the vineyards for the 4th Cellar2Cellar Trail Run & Wine Experience in the picturesque Paradyskloof outside Stellenbosch.
Starting and finishing at Blaauwklippen, the 12km Wine Experience winds its way through the vineyards of Stellenrust, Stellenzicht, Waterford, Kleinood, Dornier and Vriesenhof all renowned for their exceptional wines.
These seven participating wine farms will tempt participants to linger and taste their wines along with Portobello cheeses on offer.

Starting times: 20km & 12km Trail Run – 07h30 AND Wine Experience – from 08h00
The Wine Experience includes Wine tastings of all 6 Wine Estates and entry fee is R 315.
The entry fee for the 12km trail run only is R 150 and includes no wine tastings.
The entry fee for the 20km trail run only is R 190 and includes no wine tastings.

Franschhoek Uncorked Festival (7 & 8 September 2013)
Superb wines, great food, live entertainment and picture perfect views all set the scene for the annual Franschhoek Uncorked Festival, which takes place over the weekend of 7th and 8th September. Say goodbye to the grey moods of winter and celebrate the start of spring as wine farms in and around Franschhoek welcome the warmer weather by showcasing their exciting new vintages and releases.

Johnny Clegg at the Rhebokskloof Wine Estate (14 September 2013)
Johnny will be delighting his fans with rare unplugged performance. This very intimate show will include storytelling by Johnny, where he talks about the events in his life and the political history of South Africa and the world at that time that motivated him to write that song. It is a personal journey, which is uplifting, moving and also humorous at times. Johnny Clegg, one of South Africa`s most prolific musicians, will make his return to Cape Town (after 10 years).

Hidden food and wine braai (14 September & 24 September 2013)
Enjoy this braai sensation while sampling some of the Hidden Valley wines with a barrel wine tasting, and sip on a bottle of Hidden Valley Pinotage or Sauvignon Blanc to share on the day.  Prepare to be entertained all day with acoustic duo Janie and the Beard taking the stage, and blues singer Natasha Meister also providing some smooth tunes to accompany your delicious meal.

Nederburg – National Braai Day (24 September 2013)
Book your braai barrel at R220 per head for adults and R95 for kids, with The Red Table providing top-quality meat and seafood, as well as side dishes such as salads, vegetables, traditional pap and sheba (tomato and onion relish), as well as dessert.  If a DIY braai is not your thing, The Red Table chefs will handle the grid on your behalf, but please indicate so when making your booking.
