The Quiver Tree B&B in Langabaan

I know we go on and on about how beautiful Cape Town is and how much there is to see and do and how lucky we are to live here. Well we can totally expand on that and brag about the surrounding Western Cape hot spots which are a quick hour or two journey away. We love little weekend getaways and try and take advantage of these as often as we can. The most recent mini getaway we went on was to beautiful Langabaan.

It was the weekend of the Weskus Marathon and lop was entered in for the full marathon on the Saturday morning so we decided to drive up on the Friday after work so that we could wake up fresh and ready for the race. Our accommodation for the weekend was at the lovely Quiver Tree B&B and we couldn’t have asked for a better weekend. The Quiver Tree is located on a peaceful wildlife friendly estate just minutes away from Club Mykonos as well as Langabaans beach and restaurants. The B&B is small and intimate and perfect for couples or singles wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle for a night or two. The 2 double rooms are fully equipped with a shower, fridge, tv, tea&coffee facilities, fan, heater, wireless, dstv & alarm. And the best part is that there is a gorgeous pool and braai area to chill around all day and all night if you would like to. Everything is so relaxing, we felt miles away from the city and our little getaway left us feeling refreshed and happy!

Thank you to Glen for the warm welcome and for sharing your Langabaan gem with us. We are planning a trip back – this time with a couple friends to make full and proper use of the braai and pool area 🙂
